Common questions
- What happens when I hit the free plan's invoice limit?
- Nothing breaks. Existing invoices stay accessible; you just can't create a new one until the next month or until you upgrade.
- Do you take a cut of my payments?
- No. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect account, so the money goes directly to you and Stripe's fees are the only ones involved.
- Can I export my data?
- A full export of your organisation's data is available on every plan from Settings → Privacy. The reports themselves — aging, P&L, top clients — export to CSV and XLSX on the paid plans.
- Which plans include the API?
- Solo and Business. The REST API, OpenAPI spec and API keys come with any paid plan; outbound webhooks are the Business-only part.
- How do you compare to a self-hosted tool like Pancake?
- A one-off licence you install yourself is cheaper on paper and costs you a server. We wrote it up properly, including the things Pancake does better than us, in WeSettle vs Pancake.
